The Leibold name has long been associated with pipefitters and steamfitters. Since 1954, Clayton’s grandfather, Lloyd Leibold, started as a pipefitter, working out of the Reading Local Union 42. Lloyd and his brother, Larry Leibold, worked their way up from pipe welders to Foreman & Superintendents. Lloyd’s son, Brian Leibold- Clayton’s father, started his apprenticeship in 1974 and performed all levels of the piping industry. Starting as a welder, Brian worked his way up from foreman to Project Manager, then part owner of (2) different Union Mechanical contractors. Now retired with 47 years as a LU420 Steamfitter, Brian is enjoying hunting and fishing more than ever! Leibold Inc’s Founder & President, Clayton Leibold, started his apprenticeship in 1997. He is a current 24 yr. member of LU 420 & still a certified pipe welder. Clayton served his 5-year apprenticeship with two Reading based union mechanical contractors. Clayton continued his pipefitter career as a pipe welder and foreman. Coordinating and managing multiple high-profile, multi-million dollar HVAC jobs in the Educational, Industrial & Healthcare fields. After 10 years of field-experience, he worked his way up to Project Manager and Estimator. In March of 2012, he decided to start his own business, Leibold Inc. based in southern Schuylkill County. He felt there was a need for honest, hard-working, skilled tradesmen within the commercial HVAC industry. Based on the strong blue-collar, Union background and true family values, Leibold Inc. continues to grow and serve customers throughout the state of PA & beyond.
